Adriene Mishler is an American yoga teacher, actress, and entrepreneur born on September 29, 1984, in Austin, Texas — a city she has never left and still calls home. Raised in what she describes as an "artsy family," Adriene began her professional life as a film and television actress and voice artist before a transformative experience in a yoga studio changed her path entirely. She completed a yoga teacher training course with one driving conviction: that everyone she knew deserved to have this experience. In 2012, with her business partner and producer Chris Sharpe, she launched the YouTube channel Yoga With Adriene — and quietly began building one of the most significant wellness movements of the digital age. Adriene's teaching philosophy is built on a single, disarmingly simple invitation: "Find What Feels Good." Her classes are non-prescriptive, deeply inclusive, and rooted in the idea that yoga is not a performance but a practice of self-inquiry and self-compassion. She teaches across all levels — from complete beginners to advanced practitioners — weaving breathwork, mindful movement, and meditation into flows designed to meet people exactly where they are. Her warm, unpretentious style, often accompanied by her beloved dog Benji, made her a rare figure in wellness: someone who felt like a friend rather than a guru. Her channel was the most-searched yoga content on Google in 2015 and received the Streamy Award for Health & Wellness in 2016. Today, Yoga With Adriene has grown to over 13.6 million YouTube subscribers and more than 1.57 billion total views, making it one of the top 500 most-subscribed channels on the platform. During the COVID-19 pandemic her daily viewership surpassed 1.8 million in a single day, a testament to how many people turned to her practice in their most vulnerable moments. Beyond YouTube, Adriene co-founded Find What Feels Good (FWFG), a subscription platform offering over 700 yoga and meditation videos, workshops, and community programming. Her annual 30-day January yoga challenges have become a global tradition for millions of people seeking renewal. Adriene's mission remains unchanged from day one: to get the tools of yoga into schools and homes, freely and accessibly, for anyone who is ready to wake up.
