Jeffrey Chand is a Canadian Qigong instructor, retired registered acupuncturist, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner best known as the founder of Qigong for Vitality. Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, he studied biology before completing a four-year Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2000. His passion for Eastern healing deepened while working at a hospital in Taiwan that integrated Western and Eastern medicine, where he studied acupuncture, herbal medicine, and trained extensively with experienced Qigong teachers. These experiences shaped his lifelong mission of making authentic Qigong simple and accessible for people around the world. Through Qigong for Vitality, Jeffrey teaches gentle movement, mindful breathing, meditation, and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles that help students cultivate energy (Qi), reduce stress, improve mobility, and support long-term health. His online platform includes hundreds of guided Qigong routines, structured programs, live community sessions, and educational resources designed for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. His calm, encouraging teaching style has attracted a global audience seeking practical ways to improve physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. Jeffrey’s philosophy is rooted in the idea that healing is most effective when people become active participants in their own wellbeing. By blending ancient Chinese wisdom with modern understanding of health and mindfulness, he encourages daily practices that foster balance, resilience, vitality, and a deeper connection between body, mind, and spirit. His work empowers people to cultivate lasting wellness through simple, consistent habits rather than complicated routines.
