Marisa Cranfill is an Australian Qigong teacher, yoga educator, meditation guide, and the founder of YOQI®, a movement system that integrates the ancient practices of Qigong and yoga into a single, flowing method of energy cultivation. After discovering Qigong while studying in China more than two decades ago, she experienced profound personal benefits and began training with Chinese masters, Buddhist monks, nuns, and Thai shamans. Inspired by these traditions, she created YOQI to make authentic energy practices accessible to modern practitioners seeking greater vitality, balance, and self-awareness. Through YOQI, Marisa teaches what she calls Qigong Flow—a continuous moving meditation that combines mindful movement, conscious breathing, self-healing techniques, and Traditional Chinese Medicine principles with the physical and meditative elements of yoga. Her work includes online classes, instructor certification programs, workshops, retreats, and an extensive library of on-demand and free instructional videos designed for practitioners of all experience levels. Marisa’s philosophy is centered on the idea that every person can become an active participant in their own energetic wellbeing. She teaches that when life-force energy (Qi) flows freely, the body, mind, and spirit naturally move toward greater health, resilience, and inner harmony. By blending ancient Eastern wisdom with accessible modern instruction, she has helped thousands of students cultivate vitality, mindfulness, and a deeper connection with themselves and nature.
